Broker and founder Stan Swofford was born and raised in Hampton County and has lived throughout the Lowcountry SC region through the years. He currently resides just west of Beaufort, near the town of Early Branch, SC on his family's farm in northern Jasper County. Stan comes with a background in land sales where he worked multiple years with National Land Realty and was one of the leading land salesman in the country. Stan grew up in the outdoors, hunting and fishing in Hampton, Jasper, Allendale, Colleton and Beaufort counties. He has since been selling land in those same five counties, as well as closing sales in the areas of Barnwell, Bamberg, Orangeburg, Dorchester, and Charleston counties. He attained his Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA, where he now has experience selling properties as well, right across the Savannah River in Screven, Effingham, Jenkins, and Bulloch counties. Stan has since partnered with Marla Gibson Diaz, who is also a native of the SC Lowcountry and Hampton County, to form UC True South Properties. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as his chocolate lab hunting companion named Mox. He is a member at local Beaver Dam Baptist Church, and a board member of the local Lowcountry Landowner's Association. Stan loves the great outdoors and being in the woods or on the water, he enjoys sports and especially following his favorite sport of football that he grew up playing, he loves hunting and enjoys travelling new places to hunt different species, he likes working on and improving his own hunting property, and thoroughly enjoys selling real estate and assisting buyers and sellers of land and rural properties!
On her first visit to Panama in 2003 Marla Diaz knew she was home. She and her husband Roberto travelled to Panama from the US at least once a year for the following 8 years and finally made the permanent move in early 2011. She has not looked back since.
When asked how long she plans to live in Panama her answer is simply, “I’m home, I’m here for good.”
Her passions are travelling, experiencing other cultures, surfing and being a mommy. She has travelled extensively on both coasts of the US, Europe, Asia and parts of Central America. Panama is one of her favorite places on the planet. She always knew that she wanted to raise her family outside of the US in a tropical location. For her, Panama is the perfect place to settle down because of its location, safety and slower pace of living. She loves the location and ease of travel to the United States. Panama is safe and as a result of the US influence in the country for so many years, it has the perfect blend of American culture for her to feel familiar yet different. She feels the people of Panama are kind, generous and full of life. As a result of the Panama Canal the country is very international and cultures from around the world melt here which appeals to her. The smaller towns outside of the capital offer a slower pace of life similar to her upbringing in South Carolina. And last but certainly not least, being able to own an ocean front home was a dream come true that may not have been possible in the US.
When it comes to Real Estate Marla s philosophy is simple. Listen. People will let you know what they want and what will make them happy. She makes it her personal responsibility to bridge the gap between what people have and what people want. She really enjoys taking time to get to know the client and bringing them closer to their dream whether it be buying a perfect retirement home, vacation home or selling a home that no longer serves them. She has over 20 years in providing great customer service and believes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Growing up in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry area of eastern Georgia and South Carolina, Trey Lemon was born into a family of passionate outdoorsmen. Catching his first fish at the age of two and harvesting his first squirrel by the age of five, Trey’s passion for the outdoors consumed his childhood. From chasing turkey in the spring to fishing and setting crawfish traps in the summer to setting trap lines and hunting deer in the fall and winter, his year-round obsessions have developed into an intimate relationship with the land.
Trey attended Georgia Southern University where he graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Biology with his course load focusing on natural resource management. To help with tuition costs, Trey worked on a 20-acre organic farm in Guyton, GA, which truly revolutionized his idea of what a parcel of land could provide for its owner.
After graduating University, Trey began working as a ranch hand and hunting guide on the 9-thousand-acre Flying-A Ranch in Bandera, TX. Being located in the heart of the Texas hill country surrounded with nothing but land and wildlife, he was afforded the opportunity to hone his time management skills. Keeping a ranch of that magnitude functioning properly all the while maintaining a top-notch hospitality experience for all of the clients and guests was no small task. Trey learned how to make it a habit of making memories for others that will last a lifetime.
With a lifetime of recreating and working on the eastern shore, this Georgia native has the familiarity and knowledge you are looking for in a real estate agent. With a passion for all things outdoors and an unmatched attention to client needs, whether you are looking for a weekend getaway, timberland investment, the perfect hunting tract or a new home site, Trey’s biology background combined with his attention to detail and land management will help you find your dream property or make your current property a future dream come true.
